Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

Name of Brew: Sculpin India Pale Ale

Brewed By: Ballast Point Brewing Company

Overall rating: A

Style: IPA

ABV: 7%

IBU: Unknown

Appearance: A nice, light, amber color to it. Light on the head, though that could be just how I poured it.

Aroma: Hoppy! One whiff and you denote hops! A beautiful aroma. Wish I could get some hops for potpourri.

Flavor: Delicious hop flavor. This isn’t an over the top hoppy IPA like Moylan’s Hopsickle. Just nice, smooth hops. No bitter aftertaste. just a hop aftertaste.

Body: Medium bodied IPA.

Enjoyability: If your a hop head then this a great IPA for you. If your not a hophead then this will have no enjoyability. Since I am a hop head, it has TONS of enjoyability. Plus the guy ringing up my order was horny for this brew! He was like “Your gonna love that one!”

That thing has a micro head! I like the robust ABV on that sucker though.
