Appearance: Deep amber hues from malts.

Aroma: spicy, roasty malty.

Flavor: Lingering malty sweetness good spice.

Body: Hearty english ale.

Enjoyability: I am not a huge fan of the english ales. There a handfull like Fullers and Boddingtons that I enjoy on ocassion but overall, english ales are not at the top of my list. Well balanced flavors but didnt hit a home run in my book. Other review sites rave about this beer. I think it’s OKAY. My peronal rating is B+
