About: I remember my first beer...actually, I don't. It was probably something horrible like a Coors light and I'm glad I've forgotten. My experience with beer has come full circle. Originally I gave up on beer because I thought it was all crappy lagers. One day in 2002, I happened upon a little deli called Hollingshead in Anaheim, CA that just happened to have a vast array of "crazy" beers on tap I had never heard of. I dug the look of the STONE IPA handle and tried it. My life has never been the same since. I was in love with hops, grains, and the amazing beauty of what beer can really be.
I love bold flavors and extremes. Belgiums and homebrewing my own beer.See Authors Posts (76) | Filed under: News

My vote’s on the East. The West Coast has some great breweries, but none of ‘em can brew a beer with under 20 IBUs.

Cheers!

Lol @Keith.
I agree, West Cost is synonymous with hops and great weather.
If anyone has any suggestions for East Coast brews for us West Coasters, start commenting and we’ll do what we can to start looking for them.
