Name: Ruination IPA
Brewery: Stone
Overall Rating: A+
Style: IPA
Serving Style: Bottle
ABV: 7.7%
IBU: 100
Price: $ 5.49
Appearance: Clear, some what dark amber in color. Some carbonation can be seen through out the glass. It had a good head when I first poured it then it kind of fizzed out. Still kept you gazing at it inviting you to take a sip. You can really taste the IBUs.
Aroma: The bouquet coming from the glass is fruity and hoppy. If you love hops like I do, you will definitely enjoy this. The deeper you take in the smell the more you like it. This is one of Stone’s great flavors.
Flavor: When you first take a drink you will get a blast of all the hops. The flavor is full and if you are into a hoppy taste, it will satisfy you for sure. As the liquid goes down you will get a nice bitter taste too.
Body: Smooth and kind of creamy. It has a nice full body, the flavors are well balanced. You are able to get a feel for the hops, malt and citrus.
Enjoyability: Every sip will be better that the last. The only thing you will regret is when you come to the end of it. So hopefully you will have more than one.
