So tonight I thought I would reward myself with a classic dessert. I am not the first to come acorss this magical pairing but have heard great reviews about this paring so I decided to give it a go.
Lagunitas Cappucino Stout is a flavor aromotic stout that magically pairs with vanilla. I opted for Vanilla Bean Ice cream, but I would imagine anything vanilla flavored treat would do quite well.
What you’re looking at is Bryers’ Vanilla Bean Ice cream with dark chocolate shavings, ground cinamon, nutella drizzle and mint leaves. Fantatic by itself but utterly amazing when paired with the Lagunitas Cappucino Stout. For your friends who have hesitant to try dark beers, have them taste this pair by starting off with a bite of the vanilla ice cream followed by a taste of the cappucino stout. The vanilla ice cream is fantastic way to prep the taste buds for a aromatic and flavorful compliment of Cappucino Stout. The vanilla ice cream serves the stout well and truly brings out the flavor of cappucino. A fantastic dessert for all to try.
