Moylan’s Moylander Double IPA

Name: Moylander Double IPA

Brewery: Moylan‘s

Overall Rating: A-

Style: Double IPA

Serving Style: 22oz Bottle

ABV: 8.5%

Price: $7.99

Appearance: A fairly clear amber tone, covered with a fluffy head leaving behind a scattered lacing all around the glass.

Aroma: Strong floral hops make their way to your nose quickly, with an almost creamy malt scent backing. The aroma tells the tale that this is a serious Double IPA. Maybe a hint of fruits there but wait, more hops.

Flavor: This bold Double IPA delivers for those who seek out pure resiny concentrated hops as if the only ingredient in beer. Good bitterness engulfs your palate completely, with just enough malts so  your face does not cringe at the amount of hops here. The taste is a bit warmed by the alcohol as well. The Moylander is a no nonsense full on American Double IPA make no mistake, and in case you  missed this somehow the aftertaste too is explosively bitter.

Body: The body is full and your mouth is coated with flavors, the carbonation is a welcome touch that spreads nicely to inject all this brew offers into your taste buds.

Enjoyability: I certainly hope this is not your first IPA, or else you may not try another IPA in this lifetime. Though for those that appreciate the flower known as the hop dominating their brew, you may just well stumble upon blissful perfection once you try the Moylander.

Another take: Hated it , The rest of em
