- Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout
Name: Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout
Brewery: Stone Brew
Overall Rating: A
Style: Stout
Serving Style: 22 oz Bomber Bottle
ABV: 9.2 %
Price: $ 5.99
Aroma: Dark chocolate and malt are the first thing that hit me. In the background a hint of fruits.
Appearance: Like chocolate in a glass. Dark and rich, just good stuff. So dark that you can’t see anything on the other side when you try to look through the glass.
Flavor: Really does live up to its name, bitter chocolate for sure. Roasted malts are the second strongest presence. One of the best things of the stouts that I like. The last thing I taste is some dark fruits.
Mouth feel: Very good. Definitely not a wimpy brew. A good thick feel for a brew. A good combination
Enjoyability: A good choice to enjoy when you just get home from work or when you are out on the town. This is almost like a coffee at the same time. At 9.2 % abv just be careful.

Nice work. Do you recall what “fruits”? Fruit is a pretty broad term. Does it taste like coffee or is it just like coffee you have after work. I’m confused but mildly entertained. Cheers!!
