Moylan's Double Kiltlifter

Name: Double Kilt Lifter

Brewery: Moylan’s

Overall Rating: B+

Style: Strong Scotch Ale (9E)

Serving Style: Draft, pint @ O’Brien’s

ABV: 10.7%

Aroma:Estery, grape aromas.

Appearance: Dark amber, clean, white head that disappeared fast.

Flavor: Heavy duty malt blast with this one. the aromas carried over niceley to the flavors with more raisins and other dark fruits.

Mouthfeel: Full body, could almost cut this with a knife and chew it.

Enjoyability: I liked it! It surpassed my expectations. I had the standard Kilt Lifter once at a party but it was warm and it didn’t win me over at about 75 degrees. I’ll give it another try now that I have had the double version.
