Name: 120 Minute IPA
Brewery: DogFish
Overall Rating: A +
Style: Imperial IPA
Serving Style: 12 oz Bottle
ABV: 18 % (from the Dogfish site but I have seen it listed as high as 21 %)
IBU: 120
Price: $ 8.99 (plus shipping since I live in CA and can’t find it here, if you know where in OC you can find it, let me know)
Aroma: Hoppy and like a candy smell too. There is also a floral kind of odor with the malt. Very pleasent to the nose.
Appearance: It looks kind of like orange juice that has been watered down a bit. (the taste has not though!) Nice smooth carbonation too.
Flavor: Sweet taste, which is kind of dangerous cause you don’t even have to work at drinking this one since it goes down so but so easy. The hops are definately present. If you are not into hops not sure if you will like this one. There really isn’t any bitterness in the taste. I liked this one lots.
Mouthfeel: Awesome mouthfeel, feels really nice on the pallet. This one is good any time of the day but please don’t drive.
Enjoyability: Enjoyable for sure. One of the best Imerperial IPAs I have ever had. Very smooth and excellent to have when you are just relaxing, This is one you can’t even tell that it has a high ABV. I am definately going to have to track this one down again.
Another take: DogFish 97 Bottles
