Here are the pictures I took from the 2009 San Diego International Brew Festival:
- In line at the parking lot
- We took a double decker bus to the fair. Looks like we are in London.
- First glimpse of the fair, from the top of an open top double decker bus.
- Still arriving!
- The ticket they wouldn't let me keep as a souvineer.
- Walking up to the festival, swarms of people! I'm thirsty!
- More swarms of people. This is about 1:30pm.
- The scroll of BEER!!!
- I got my glass with beer in it! Success is at hand!
- This was a dark Brut I liked
- Home Brew Mart was there giving away free recipes of BEER
- Some local Lost Abbey
- ROGUE!! I had a couple Dead Guys
- Some more locals, Coronado Brewing
- I can't remember who's baltic porter this was but it was good!
- Dogfish Head! This made me want to snag a tub and run
- This is one I hadn't tried before. It was a sour but tasty!
- Victory was showing everyone how its done!
- This guy was a nub. Couldn't even talk intelligently about the beer or know what he was even pouring.
- No wonder the Padres are hurting, this is their maskot!
- This chickin kabob was tasty and huge!
- Took a little break to watch these chicks play the fiddle
- Rich wanted to check out the Gem and Minerals, he didn't know it was the Gem, Minerals AND Jewelry exibit. I gave him shit for it!
- Cool minerals
- People win awards for arranging this stuff?
- Not what I had in mind for a display at the fair...
- This guy can't get enough of the ball jokes!
- Ah...back to the beer festival. It was packed when we got back!
- More people
- This was a popular event. Some couln't hang. We saw puke on the ground and nubs passing out
- Oskar Blues, the Old Chub was TASTY!
- This was a dang good IPA!
- Alesmith, delicious!
- This must have been an additional trip back to Rogue...
- Deschutes from Bend Oregon! Inversion IPA was damn good!
- Laura's Porter cookie. She was describing a stout to me and I told her she should review beer. She says she has always wanted to, I offered up the CORE Brewing as a solution!
- This was Rich's favorite. He said it go good with a steak since it was brewed with peppercorns
- Airdale showed up, my first taste of their Dark and Stormy stout, I liked it!
- Alaska IPA, glad they brought more than one tap of it!
- Italian sausage, very tasty and paired well with drinking lots of beer!
- This is the best dessert ever! Deep fried S'more!!! I could go for one right now!
- Some nutty horses. Reminded me of the face Greg Koch always makes in pictures
- Time to head home! This wraps up another great beer festival. See you next year!
