Name: Abbey Ale
Brewery: Ommegang
Overall Rating: B +
Style: Belgian-Style Dubbel
Serving Style: 750ml
ABV: 8.5 %
Price: $ 9.99
Aroma: Dark fruit, molasses and a hint of apples.
Appearance: Awesome carbonation, dark red amber in color.
Flavor: Fruity, fruity and fruity (apples, plums and cherries). Almost like you are having a cider but a lot better
Mouthfeel: Great body, smooth and feels good as you drink it. This is one you want to drink slow to enjoy it. There is a nice feel through out the sip and a slight dryness as it goes down.
Enjoyability: This is one enjoyable brew. Wish we could get more east coast brews out here in the west coast. Hats off to OMMEGANG Brewery on this one.
