Name: 2 Turtle Do
Brewery: The Bruery
Overall Rating: A
Style: Between Belgian Strong Dark Ale and Imperial Porter
Serving Style: 750 ml Bottle
ABV: 12 %
IBU: 25
Price: $ 10.99
Aroma: There is a mixture of the caramel malts and the toasted pecans. Very nice to the nose.
Appearance: Low carbonation, not unusual for a high ABV brew. Dark but not opache like a stout. When I first poured it I got a nice dark tan head in the glass. There is a slight amount of lacing in the glass once the foam of the head went down.
Flavor: You get hit with all kinds of goodness. From the malts and sugars to the smoked pecans. A good treat for your tastebuds.
Mouthfeel: Smooth in body and feel as it goes down. Nice and warm all the way through. You can feel more than you can taste the high ABV.
Enjoyability: It was a fun time having this one. This is one you want to take your time with so you can take in all the flavors.
Another take: The Bruery The Full Pint
