Sierra Nevada – 30th Anniversary Fritz and Ken’s Ale
Author: Escape To Beer | Filed under: Beer ReviewsBrewery: Sierra Nevada
Overall Rating: A +
Style: Imperial Stout
Serving Style: 22 oz Bomber
ABV: 9.2 %
Price: $ 9.99
Aroma: Dark chocolate and malt smells fill the nose. Some hoppy after tones.
Appearance: Dark brown almost black fills the glass with a nice thick dark tan head.
Flavor: Bitter chocolate was the first thing I tasted. Coffee then the malts followed. Awesome full flavor.
Mouthfeel: A creamy full body is felt as you enjoy this brew. Something that welcomed from a good imperial stout. Good carbonation that stays active the glass the whole time you drink it. Lots of noticible lacing all along the walls of the glass.
Enjoyability: Good strong and very enjoyable for those who are into imperial stouts. You will end up having this one more than once.

I have word from Holiday Wine Cellar’s Twitter feed [@HWC1965] that they have the Sierra Nevada 30th. I haven’t been home long enough to get by there to get some myself.
