Brewery: Dechutes
Overall Rating: A +
Style: American Strong Ale
Serving Style: 22 oz Bottle
ABV: 10 %
IBU: 55
Price: $ 12.99
Aroma: Sweet malty tones are first noted. Hints of toffee, caramel, vanila and molasses.
Appearance: A dark amber color with red highlights and good retention. A thick tan head was a attained when first poured.
Flavor: A good mix flavors entertained the palette when enjoying this brew. From raisins to molasses even with vanila overtones. Something I will want to have again.
Mouthfeel: Nice thick body. Smooth and sweet through and through. Somewhat of a crisp taste that was not over bearing or abrasive.
Enjoyability: Had a good time enjoying this one. Definately an interesting brew that keeps you wanting to drink more of it. It had a warming alcohol presense that let you know it was a high ABV brew.
